BigDC-
Nice pics man! Question though-you seen any of those big bucks lately? I finally saw my first BIG deer here monday night. I was up in northern Washington area visiting a buddy of mine, went out scouting with him. We found a bunch of really nice shooter bucks, then found a complete monster. This guy had a huge body, neck like a horse, and a rack like I've never seen before. We studied him for 15 minutes or so, in total awe-having to guesstimate, we concluded he must be a MINIMUM of 29" wide, and at least as tall. A big 5x6 muley with heavy beams and good tine length. I have never seen anything of this magnitude before in the wild, definately worthy of the books. Got me REALLY excited for hunting season this coming weekend, but again, we won't see anything near that big-I don't think anyway. Kind of puts things in perspective seeing what you would normally consider to be a "good buck", then see a monster like that, it's really incredible.
Best of Luck,
Mike

I rode it this year over New Years. it was a real blast. I know they are trying to close it. It is in the middle of of some wilderness study area. The South Eastern OHV Club has traffic counters on the trail and are trying to keep it open. They do a lot of work on the trail to help maintain it.
I was suprised that the jamboree chose a trail so far from Richfield.

We took a day off from the Jamb. and some of the people wanted to go on a fast hard ride,so we took them the 70 mil. east for a good day of riding. 2 of them got in a race in this creek bed, they were flying when Dave hit a hole fill with water, it flip him over the handle bars right in to some stinky muddy water his polaris got water in the tranie took some time to dry it out, we keep going and not 1/2hr later he hit a rock and bent the rim and made a flat. that took some time to fix thank you people from Faron, that hammer was a god send. the rest of the ride was just alot of good fun. the rock climbing was a blast.

Did you go past the turn for the devils race track? If you keep following the river bottom it takes you to this nice big arch. Then off to the left is what I was told was the Devils Arm Chair.
The rock climbing is fun. The one section where it steps down (or up depending on which way you go) was a little tricky. We rode on past the race track and there are some indian paintings. From there we rode out to Swazy's cabin and then back around through Eagle Canyon to the trucks. All in all it was a real nice ride.
I forgot about the stinky water you have to cross a few times. When I went a lot of that was frozen so I had fun spinning around on the ice.
Sorry to hear about the bad luck of your friend. I hope everything ended up okay.
