Chunky, you make a good point. I have been known to boo boo now and then. It'll be greese until the warranty expires.

bbertram, it is metal on metal. Apparently there is just enough play in the axle shaft and/or flex in the rims to cause a slight rubbing action.

Look in my pictures (click on the link in my sig) and click on the folder called "RIMS RUBING" In the very middle of the wheel is where the rubbing is taking place. Just a visualisation for people who don't know where to look. I didn't know where to look until I really looked.

Also I noticed the sqweeking sound today too. It wasn't all that loud but it was there. I'll show my dealer this when I'm down south next and see what he says.


PS: as of this posting my pictures are not working because of some Yahoo! reason. Give it an hour or so and it should work.

 

I just clicked on your site Brent but it doesn't work yet.
I did look and I can't find anything that might be what you guys are counting as a potential problem. I need to know what to look for or find this thing before I get to H/M Trails. I don't need to find it there... So far--no noise...
