should I be collecting these things or what?
I just found a 1986 250R in near mint original condition. It has been serviced well and hardly looks
used at all. All original parts and no modifications, and appears to run perfect, starts easily etc.
I can buy this bike for $2000. is it worth it?
I have a 1986 250es that is in the same condition as the 250R I want to buy, I paid $1900. for the
big red, did I pay too much?
Since I got the big red I have caught the 3-wheel virus and I want to start collecting these things,am
I going nuts?
And finally IF collecting is not a bad idea, which 3-wheelers should I be looking for to add to my collection?
Thanks in advance.

Heck yeah, start collecting them. Tons of fun! Sounds lile a fair price on an extra clean r. The tri-z are a blast, r's are great, 200x (86-87) is my favorite, 350x prolly best all around, t-3 super fast, ect.....
Last count I have 40 trikes and love 'em. Great to got to a big ride and turn some heads.

86 R is definitely worth it if its in EXCELLENT condition only. check the bearing carrier on the rear of the swing arm for cracks (bottom) and also check the oil drain plug at the bottom of the case. these are known for stripping and some peoples fix is welding a permanent piece of metal in which i dont like.
if your intentions are to ride hard and fast, the R is the best atc to do both.
