Default Munching plugs likes no tomorrow

Well, recently i dropped a weisco in, and everything has been fine....until about a week ago,....i went to start up big red, and it didnt...so i pull the plug out, great spark.....puzzled...gettin fuel, compression.....so i stuck a new plug into here....vroooommm......im like wtf...plug is sparking fine but wont work..ok whatever...should be fine....then yesterday, i went to go fire it up( ive been riding since the new plug was put in) and nothing.....pull the plug, the plug is firing all around the electrode except the gap area.......the plug is all black, so i clean the plug....then i jump started the trike with the electric, and after about 10 turns over and some throttle she came to life, sputtered a bit and then it ran quite fine.........im stumped...what should i do??

It may be a spark related issue but not with the plug. Check all your connections right back to the CDI, I ended up spenting 170 unnecessary dollars for a CDI when it was a loose connection on the CDI.

Check the coil first.

buy a needle and seat set (not the float needle, the jet needle)-mine was doin the same thing, solved my problem completely, though i had to experiment with the position of the clip a little....(easy after having the carb off 3-4 times)

Well, i just phoned my local honda dealer, and he quoted me $29 (cnd) for the needle and seat....they dont even sell complete carb kits...so asked is they sell main jets....nope??..so im like wtf??if my dealer doesnt sell them, who will??? Now, if i fix that carb up with the needle and seat, i know that the new piston with make it run leaner, with the carn back to normal conditions, will the new piston make the mixture to lean, ??

go to a shop in Glass Manitoba. Got everything there.

Lots of used parts for resonable prices and some almost new stuff.

You should check it out sean
