How do I know which way the cam is supposed to sit? The gear has the "O" mark, but the cam can go one of 2 ways, rotated 180 degrees. Neither mounting hole has a mark as to which lines up with the mark on the cam gear.

When it is on top dead center there is no pressure on the valves, the pin that holds the advance in place needs to point up. When everything is correct cam lobes should face down and adjust valve adjusters so you have 0.002 inch or 0.05 mm of clearance. When its together how tight is the chain, if its loose you will have to adjust the chain tensioner. Adjustment is as follows once you get it running, start engine and let it reach operating temp. shut it off, remove rubber cap located just behind the cylinder on the left side of the crankcase. Restart engine and let idle, loosen the adjuster bolt. The tensioner will automatically adjust. Retighten the bolt and put rubber cap back on

Ok, so I can't find the T mark on the flywheel. Could I be looking in the wrong spot? Anyone have a photo? Thanks for all your help so far!
