hey, my friend has a stock 86 tecate 3 and i have an 86 lt250r with fmf pipes, boyessen reed,and uni air filter. I was wondering which would be fastest top end and bottom end. thanks

 

Do you have an ATC or TRX? I'm guessing it's a trike. The powerplants are the same one's used in the fourwheeled versions of each bike by the companies. In shootouts the Tecate engine was proven to be quicker top end wise, but the Honda would pull it off the whole.

 

The Honda LT250R? Hey bro, the Tecate was the baddest 250 ever to hit planet Earth. The Tecate would take it, but your Q racer is faster than those $7000 "wonder machines" out there today, so be happy.

 

no mines not a trike its an 86 suzuki quadracer 250 atv. Im dont really care if mines faster or if his is faster because im not drag racin i ride MX. But thanks for the input.

 

I didn't know there was any such thing as an LT trike, did you? I don't think there is. I also think your choice in sprockets affects your speed.

 

umm is it just me or did anyone else notice that Suzuki, not Honda made the LT's? the Honda's are TRX's! :^)
