I've got an 85 atc250R, lots of mods. Has anyone had any trouble with installing a Barnett or EBC clutch with the new pressure plate springs and the clutch be so stiff you can hardly squeeze the clutch lever? I've had the same trouble with both clutches. This is getting ridiculous. With the pressure plate off, the clutch cable moves freely without trouble. This issue has got to be the springs.

Bokker,

did you have a 250R? One thing I've noticed is the cable doesn't seem quite long enough and I've replaced it a while back with a new one but that's was quite a while back!!! Even with the shortest route possible, the cable seems to be a fraction too short. If you have a 250R, did you notice this?

I got an 85 and the cable seems long enough, can you loosen the cable adjusters to get some slack?
