Default hi, just signed up needing some help

hi,i've read these forums for a lil while and have recently aquired an atc. it's an 84 250r,(i'm told has a new 300 kit in it).runs great,(almost too good) looks ridden but not abused. anyway the rear carrier bearings are shot and most likely the housing.i see tons of them on ebay and other sites but it's like they are for everything after 84. can someone tell me if the swingarm ,bearings, calipers etc are the same as the 85's and 86's maybe even the trx parts are the same . i got this thing originaly to sell or trade, but the more i ride it the more i wanna keep it. thanks!

Sorry... Yours is the last year of the aircooled.. after that they changed everything(85-6). None of the parts from a newer one will fit. The carriers are fairly tough, if u can get the bearings out, bring it to your local bearing supplier, and they can match it up.. good luck
