Default Is this a common thing

I have a 400 4x4 outlander and i drive it like id drive a sport quad after i was jumping it the other day i went for a easy ride to break the new belt i put on this morning and i could hear a thunking noise in the front when ever i went over a bump i got off and looked and my right front shock was blown out are these rebuildable or the hole shock got to be replaced

Its an 2003 and also do you think off a quest 650 thats a 2000 whould the front shocks fit on my 400 outlander
