if you can do the work you could do high comp. piston and cams plus springs.

Well honestly after spending $20,000 on one ds and quit a few different motor combos, i personally think i gained 25HP and played with a bunch of different power curves, you now ,for $600 you can spray 35-45HP shots of nos[ if done right] with littile motor mods..., i saw a pretty much stock preditor on nos at pismo and it was pretty impressive with 265lb guy on it, he had alot of people wondering what the heck, he had it hidden under his seat with just a few pressure guages...he was only shooting a 15 HP shot...so he said

Only get NOS if you drag race or hill shoot a lot. Running NOS for wood riding just seems like a waste to me. Plus you always have to keep that tank full of juice. Sure it's an easy way to get power...but i'd say for competition only.

Thats just me tho.

Well I'm a nitrous junky anyway. My DS is the only thing in the garage that don't have it. I think a high compression piston and some port work wouldn't be bad. I have heard mixed opinion on cams.

a stage two is faster than a stock machine on the flats it rips on stock, on hill races it is a lot closer. i'd do the cams.
