well I dont think its possible for the TM.. The Lectron does not have a main jet.. the needle acts as the main and needle..

Hey I mean no disrespect to the lectron as I stand and defend the TM's. I've just not seen anything to prove it better, there are just as many people with dyno results leaning one way as the other, and really none of them show much of a peak difference.
Everybody does need to understand though that all TM's are made to use the pumper - not using the accelerator pumps on carbs that have them is ignoring part of its function, and obviously if you ignore how something is designed and made to work it can only lead to poor performance. Just make sure that you don't compare a Lectron to a TM that does not have the pump activated and tuned because that is where these carbs get their violent and explosive low end boost. Anybody that has a TM not using the pump is making a mistake.

I think the problem with people not being content with the TM45 is that they were either unable to tune the circuits properly, or the Pumper was never set up or configured right...
