KawasakiKid, All you need to do is go to another dealer. I wouldn't even mention you bought the DS in Canada. I think what Bombardier is saying is that they cannot control or dictate how a particular dealership runs their business and they cannot force them to service your ATV. I have had problems with dealers where I live too and just went to another dealer. Problem solved.

Trust me, I thought of playing it sly, but they checked the VIN on the bike and found out for themselves.

I just feel it's a total crock especially for someone who lives in a very rural area. Pertaining to the fact that I'm unable to have the bike serviced at my nearest dealer.

WOW, that does sound like a crock (pertaining to the dealership)

Well, I guess I might have made the right choice by paying for the full coverage extended 3 year warranty. I didn't want to chance all these problems with a new bike that costs as much as (2) quads.

Well ...I have just started on the Stage 1 kit and should have it wrapped up by Mon. I took my bike out of storage and started adding stuff to it for the winter months in AZ.

I really want to open the DS up to its potential and have people stop talking trash about it.

I know there are alot of people who just want to get a quicker bike and then RACE RACE RACE but please... I think 100mph is fast enough for the dunes or anywhere. I mean this isn't NASCAR.

Wow That is a lot of B.S. That is why i dont like dealers much. It seems like they are too self centered and not focused enuff on costomer satisfation and customerr loyalty. So to avoid this probelm I buy used. Sure it is not as cool as getting something show room fresh but i don't care i'll just take it home and wash it. besides how rooms smell too funny, they smell like B.S.

Well, for what it's worth, I'm in the midst of writing a letter to Bombardier HQ. We'll see what they have to say, if anything.

<< Well, I’m waiting on a reply back from Bombardier in regards to the whole US vs. CAN warranty crap. If anyone has their HQ’s number please list it.

I “did” find something out though. I called the Canadian dealer (whom I bought the bike from) and asked them about my problem. I got the answer I expected….”The dealer is lying to you”

It’s no different than buying a Ford in the US and having warranty work done in Canada. The Canadian dealer also enlightened me that my DS should be serviceable World-Wide just as a Ford, Chrysler, or Chevrolet car, truck, or SUV would be.

All I need now is written proof from Bombardier then strap on my s**t kickers and head to the US dealer!!!

If anyone has any leads or info where I can get an aftermarket chain roller please post them here.

Thanks
>>

Well first of all take care of business with the sealer, but about the chain roller, correct me if i am wrong but i am almost positive that i read somewhere that you could use a skateboard wheel as a chain roller, i may be mistaken though just thought i would help or try to anyway
