i need to change my oil and was andering what everyone uses i have a cance to buy oil that is really good but don't know what i need. any info will be appritiated

 

what have you done to your quad? i run red line 20-50 but it is kind of spendy

 

al i have is an end cap. my friend sells amilie oil he's a part time dealer, he got the job fro a gu hat runs top alcohol funnycars in the ihra. the guy did a test and found that ths oil perormas better than red lin and royal purple so i thought bout trying it and see how i like it. we put it in chadascramblers car and no more engine noise or dry sarts. but would th 1/30 be ok to use

 

Like sandman said, it depends on your mods really. If you have some money tied up into mods, oil thats a little spendy is easy to justify for the protection. I run Honda HP4 no moly.

I believe the book says 10/40 - And end cap will not change the oil wieght. Stick with whats in your manual.

 

how many quarts do i put in i think its 2 but not sure and i can't find my manual

 

it's litres not quarts but it is close to 4.

 

if you run synthetic, be sure it's JASO MA rated, otherwise clutch might slip.
