As far as HP gain Alky has over Gas??? The gains mentioned (10-12%) is alky over regular pump gas. They make A LOT of additives now days for "race gas" and some people like to say (well... I'm on gas) but they forget to mention that thier "race gas" cost anywhere from $15-30 a gallon(depending on what additives is in it). So they do make "race gas" with more performance than alky.

As far as running gas through your motor after every ride...Well its up to you, but the DS(Rotax) engine is an all aluminium cylinder with a Nikisil coating, so it will not rust like other Motors with Steel sleeves will(RAPPY'S). As good rule of them is your done with your bike for the week, and it may be 2-3 weeks before you take it back out, then run a carb full of gas throught the carb. If your quad sets for a few days bfore you get the chance to do this, rest assured your engine will be just fine.
