If you have 2yrs worth on those clutches, I would say replace them, but mine were only a couple of weeks old at the time they started slipping, I checked the plates, they had no signs of blueing so I just put the springs in. But like I said, mine were only a couple of rides old.

Sandbomber, Im glad your friend is ok. I was wondering where he went after the ambulances changed location. My neighbor was towing somebody back to camp when he crashed and said that it didnt look good. Said he did at least 3 endoverends before coming to a stop. How did he hit the water anyways?

some dude on a banshee flipped it pretty bad saturday at florence. we came across him just laying there with two very little kids standing by him crying. looked like he had a broken nose and maybe dislocated arm or broke. we hauled a** to goose pasture were his crew was. then led the ambulance out to him. hope he is ok. anybody else know him?
on a lighter note. had my first run with the lectron carb. at first I was disapointed. I was running about the same as before next to my freind who rides a banshee. after a few drags I started to notice that I could let off the throttle a little in fourth gear at 7000 plus and the quad would not slow down with the engine rpm's. its hard to feel it in the lower gears. just kinda felt like I could not spin up the tires as usual. so I was thinking that I needed one more tooth down on primary drive until the fourth gear slipping. clutch time. I guess the extra hp finished off my clutch. so I did not get to feel the real deal. o'well, maybe next time. I am going give garnett a try and switch to klotz oil as recomended.
I did not see very many ds650's at florence on saturday. just a couple of yellow one's with riders in yellow gear.and one red one with a big boy on it. was that any of you guys?

I went on down to Winchester to ride on the smoother stuff with the wife. (Her first time riding). Met up with sandbomber there. I know that DSSleuth and Sandman were there at Honeyman. Sleuth has a red and black DS and Sandbomber has a couple of yeller ones. Maybe thats who you saw. Parker was also there with his super trick custom painted TVI DS770.
Hoping to go to Florence/Winchester around spring break. I have mon tues and weds off.
