Default neutral light not working

i tested the bulb and the bulb is good. but it doe not come on when in neutral. also every once in a while i can not get the starter to turn over while it is in neutral. it acts like a bad neutral switch. but where is it? is it internal in the trans? how hard is it to get to?

Watch out when removing the screw holding the wire on. I had a tough time getting that one out and ended up replaceing it with a cap head allen. Yes, it is a metric size.

You can remove the switch and replace it if you need to but, I would check the wires first.

Let us know, I haven't heard of this issue yet. . . I'll probably have it happen to me
