I absolutely LOVE methanol. You won't get 20 or 25 hp out of it but you will gain a lot of torque and maybe 5-7 hp on top. It's a lot less hassle finding it (for me anyway), the power is always there, it runs MUCH cooler, it LOVES high compression, and it is not nearly as hard on your engine.
In a 300' drag going to alky alone gave me an extra 4 bike lengths.

BartlettRacing is right on the money again. N2O and extremely high compression don't really go well together.
I don't want to be a wet blanket here, but I want to talk about the down side of alkie. They arn't really problems, just things you have to do and things you need to know about the stuff.
If you run rich and have a habit of not changing your oil, your going to have problems. Alkie is hard on bearings if you let it thin out your oil. Change it like your underware and you will be fine!!!
Alkie is hard(er) to light off. Have a good ign. system to light the fire.
Don't leave alkie in the tank, lines, carb, for a long time unless you like to clean snott out of these parts. So much the worse if you live in humid areas. Purge it with gas.
Alkie is hard on certain metal parts and some rubber. It is pretty corrosive stuff.
One more thing, I do agree with all of these posts, give it a try and see what you think!!

With having to change the oil more often, I know some guys that do it after every hard weekend of riding. Do you guys change the filter every time? I could see draining and filling with fresh but to change the filter everytime, especially for the 00 model guys could get really monotonous.
