i think it hits at 6500- 7000, and i do mean hits but only with good bottle pressure, as pressure fades so does the hit.

I have some experience with nitrous oxide in automotive setups, and scooby is exactly right. Sandman is hitting his nitrous at about 25hp at maybe ( I'm guessing here) 3000rpm and holding it all the way to ~9000rpm. Nitrous has no idea as to how fast the engine is turning and if 25hp is ok at 3000rpm then the amount of nitrous can be increased as the rpms go up. At 9000rpm he is shooting the same amount of gas per second as he was at 3000rpm, it's just not going to be as rich a charge as it was at 3000. A progressive controller can start you at 25hp and increase the volume as the engine speed increases. You'll never know how greedy you can get until it cracks a piston lifts the head or bends a rod. If you "burn" anything it's because you were lean and it's not the fault of nitrous oxide.
I had a couple questions about this post. Let me warn you ahead of time, I am nitrous ignorant, sorry.
Why would the fuel/nitrous ratio change with rpms?
Or are you saying that you can use a larger amount of nitrous at a higher rpm than at a low rpm?

The higher the RPM the more N2O the engine can use. If you use "extreem" amounts of N2O at very low RPM, bad things can happen.

BTW Spin, I agree with everything you said, and have had the exact experiances with juice as you, but I was only shooting about 30 to 30% of total engine output. Never had a bad experiance with the stuff, and that was with cast pistons.

the nitrous is being sprayed into the cylinder at a constant rate. At lower rpms the valves are open longer ( measured by time ) the nitrous never increases the amount of no2/fuel mixture, as rpms increase and the valves are open for a shorter period of time so they actually get less mixture.
