Needing Outlander input
My wife loves her Outlander Max, I like it too. The ride can't be beat, and it feels a lot more stable than other quads with independant rear suspension. It has a dual swingarm/torsion bar setup instead of sway bar.
My only gripe is that it doesn't come in CAMO!!!!

Needing Outlander input
I just got done with a long ride on my Outlander yesterday. It was 132 miles of trail with lots of rocks and off-cambers with a bunch of smooth dirt road. My quad now has about 300 miles on it and here are my observations.
1-The seat is the best seat I have ever ridden on for comfort. I finished the 132 miles with no butt soreness. The only negative I can see about the softness is that it is harder to slide around on if you need to lean aggressively.
2-The suspension is the best I have ever ridden on and the off camber stability is outstanding. I also have a Kodiak 400 and a Prairie 650. The Outlander is miles ahead of the Kodiak and also better than the P-650 on off cambers.
3-The fuel mileage is unbelievable. I went on this long ride to see the fuel mileage expecting to hit reserve at about 80 miles. I did not hit reserve until 130 miles. This was approx. 75% dirt roads, 25% trail exploring and rock crawling.
4-Speedometer is about 5% fast. 45 mph indicated seems to be a good max extended cruise speed.
5-Eaxhaust system heat shields on right side vibrate when cold making crappy noise. I have installed extra clips and hose clamps in a mostly successful attempt at getting rid of the noise.
