I get a lot of props when it comes to the TM's, but it only because of the work I've done with the pumper. the carb is great and speaks for itslef, all I really got serious involement in is the praising of the pumper. I'm not the only one who has been able to manipulate the springs for easy thumb operation with the pump, but I guess I got the most vocal about it. but now it seems that this spring tension might possibly be solved by RW, I'm not sure, so if the tension problem still exists, I extend the standing offer to help anobdy with it anytime, even if you wanna ship it to me and have me do it, I'd be happy to.

Common source for the TM is RWR, but lets not forget about THEBOM - he owns 5 DS's, I think two are 650's, one 720, a 760, and if I'm not mistaken an 830, and all of them run on Mikuni's. He sells TM's I believe, and prolly nobody has as much experience with them on a DS, and if I heard rumor right, he has even become a believer in the pumper for track and trails, though the pumper hasn't much use on the drag strip. Also Marky sells them at On-Dunes.

order the manual for $12 with it, the part diagrams and instructions for tuning the idle mix and pilot are very easy to follow.
between it and us you can set it up.

Thanks, isn't THEBOM located in Missouri? If so, that would be ideal as I live right on the north border of MO and go south often. Thanks for the help in advance.

I ran the tm 48, hightower got it pretty much dialed in with the pump for me, NO flat spots, it is an easy carb to work on. Then I switched to methonal you won't need the pump, no flat spots, you just need the correct jets. TheBOM can help you with that to.
