Im sorry - I absolutely dislike Sidewinder. If they are a sponsor, I wish you luck with that.

Sure! Primarily not happy with the product; as the sprockets they sold me did not clear over the sprocket hub. Then I was surprised at my bill when I got it, over $30 more in charges than what I authorized. When I asked to speak to the manager about both problem, he said he was on a cruise in Club Med - I mean how bad is that? Like I said, I wish you luck with that -

I have their titanium chain, since my old one broke taking part of the case with it. It seems pretty good. They also make a chain lube that was developed in Desert Storm. I have yet to try that but supposedly contains no oil or wax which contains sticky properties to attract dirt, dust, sand.

Ive been emailing them about their conversion kit, asked twice if the chain is all titanium and i have yet to get a straight answer. I believe there was another thread sayin the chain wasnt titanium, but they told me $350 for a chain and the sprockets, might be to much for me. Especially when MR H has that lightended chain and sprocket star for $125, and the hubs for +$150. Add light sprockets and ur way over sidewinders 3lb cut and with $ to spare on other goodies.
Ive been lookin into lightenin up my drivetrain, most hardcore part i found was a full titanium axle from radmfg for $999! lol, thing def looks futuristic, but when DuraBlue has one for $350 and only weighs 16lbs i'll save the $650 lol, maybe get a piston and cams wit it

I race with the ti chain and it works great. the ti is really an alloy.. I think its a titiuam moly alloy. the thing about ti is that its too brittle to use a chain unless you mix it with something else..

I've heard mixed views, I have what is supposed to be a Ti 530 chain, its is the biggest POS I have ever owned, it is merely cheap chain with a nickel plating on the plates, and the pins and rollers turned orange the first ride. $159 piece of junk, with buttloads of extra charges like ODP said...

Friend of mine has the Ti 520 on his Predator, really is happy, still a beautiful chain.

Now maybe they screwed up, maybe I mistakenly got cheap **** instead of Ti, but either way, they suckass in my book. My chain is garbage and I will never buy from them again. And nobody try to school me on maintenance either - none of you take any better care of your chain than I do. My 3 year old stock chain looks better than my 4 month old Sidewinder junk.
