Default head stay nuts, the stove type,

I recently rebuilt my DS and reused them but, many people on here recommend replacing them. Also there was something about the stock torque #'s being to high and it stripping the nuts. Do some search's I think all the big dogs have chimed in on this before. Gook luck and your going to love your DS even more after the rebuild, I bought my parts from MrHP to and am extremly happy with the results.

Default head stay nuts, the stove type,

I've done both. Replaced them and reused them. The last 3 builds I have reused them. As far as the torque. I recenly went to 37 ft lbs that is down from the 44 recomended by bombardier. Also I put oil on the threads and on the nut. The new torque and oil recomendation was via MrHp. Worked great for me so i'll pass that info on to you
