Traxter Transmission Problem
I finally got my traxter but have had a problem!
When i go to shift from reverse to forward or park ect. It freezes up and won't shift. When i've been doion is shutting the atv down and shifting, then starting it back up which i shouldnt have to do! Does anyone know that the problem is?
Also there is a little dial that says RES, ON, OFF. What is this for?
Thanks
Sorry for the questions, i bought the atv used so no manual!

The dial is a fuel valve. Off means, well........just that, off. On means, well.........on. And res means reserve, about a gallon or two after you run out of gas in the on position.

Traxter Transmission Problem
Easy pleasy.
#1 Start you quad up and get it up to operating temp.
#2 Take your seat off and set aside.
#3 See the black plastic cover on top of the carburator? It has two philips screws holding it on and is about 2" in diameter. (I'm trying to help you ID the carburator in case you don't know where it's at.)
#4 On the left side of the carb down low is a **** that is about 1/2" in diameter. It's silver looking and has a philips head on the end of it. The **** is attached to a spring that looks like a hose.
#5 Make sure your choke is OFF and start your quad up and turn this **** counter-clockwise to a low idle.
#6 Put your seat back on.
#7 The most important step. Go ride your great quad and have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope I was clear enough?
