gritty powder is a new one. thanks - I'll definitely try that one.

For things like broken exhaust studs, I tig a stack weld or a bolt onto them and then back them out with vice grips.

Default striping screws
I do what busmechanic says and still have stock screws in all my toys. The carbs have been apart on each multiple times.
Definitely nothing but great advice in here for when they get stripped. IMO
