Default STOLEN DS RECOVERED!!!!

Actually my brother is a cop and I have alot of respect for him. He tells me all of the "interesting" stories so believe me Donecrashed I know what you guys have to put up with! The cop who made the arrest was a real nice guy according to my dad. He even stayed there and watched over the quad so my dad could go back to the house and pick up the trailer (the truck is to high to lift it in).

Ya, just like any other profession, there are good cops and bad cops. Sometimes the wife and I even play good cop, bad cop...

Sorry, I believe Donecrashed was replying to my comment. I did not intend to sound like an a-hole but I have had such terrible luck with the police force here.

Good to hear you got your quad back, just got mine back after 4 years. Guess they thought the sticker on the bottom of the frame was the VIN. Guy took it in to get serviced and got busted. Got it back with a Ron Woods Stage 1 kit, new handle bars, and new wheels and tires. I have to fix it up a little as the seat is broke and just going to strip it down, clean it, tune it up and re-do everything that I can.

for those posters that are basing on cops. the percentage of bad cops is less than 1 percent, but because the media exploits these stories (much like we exploit problems with craptors!), with get the idea that it is a national epidemic, which it isn't.

here is a link that outlines why the LAPD has gotten such a bad name over the last couple of decades.

When I deal with police officers, it is always with a yes sir/maam, or no sir/maam---with complete respect, even if i think they are wrong. the only people that complain about police are the people that constantly have to deal with them !(aka the bad people)

So let me get this strait, someone comes onto my property takes my possesion and I'm the bad guy?????? I guess I will have to remember that defense next time I hold up a liqour store, seeing how I'm the bad guy, or no wait that would make the store clerk the bad guy. Thanks for that stunning observation Mr. Cochren.

I am a Deputy Sheriff and I work in the jail, so me and the wife play escaped prisoner and the wardens wife. I worked the streets for a while and really enjoyed it, but now I think this is a sweeter deal. Same pay, no traffic accidents, I know who the criminals are (everybody), and the weather is the same every day.
