how much are they and where can i get sum info? i really dont have that kind of money i dont think. i still owe my dad $100 for my exhaust and rev box

 

someone on here used the front shocks off of a 400ex

 

well i just sold my 400ex and i dont want to trade the shock from a ds to an ex that would be down grading i love the factory shocks on the ds650 thats why i wanted a lowering kit

 

You can try crjperformance.com. Not sure if they make them for the DS.

 

The cheapest way to lower a ds is to spin the threaded collars [pre load] to the very bottom on the front shocks , and spin the threaded collar on the back shock all the way to the top. This will lower your ds, how much is anyone's guess. You can also remove the top spring on the back shock to really drop the back end.

 

Durablue makes them but not sure about the bomb. They start at 80 bucks maybe you can modify what they do have.

 

I've got a set of ft. ohlins off the cannondale , brand new . never been out of the garage , and an old beat-up ds rear shock , but it has a spacer puck inside that limits the travel . I would like to loose them . the set puts the frame about 3-4 in off the ground . pm me
