The size has a taper to it 1" from front to back. I would suggest getting poster paper and making one out of that first. Its much better to make a template and then just lay it on your aluminum material. I made it out of too thin of aluminum the first time. Make sure you use a decent thickness. I wanted to get mine welded up but the guys that were going to weld it suggested folds and rivots instead. It seems to be very strong. Remember that when you bend on your "line" to not grow your overall box dimensions. I was thinking of making a few of these and sell them, just dont know who all would really want them. They used to go for 200 a pop. I also reused my battery holder inside of my box.

I would have to see what they would want for them. I would bet just over $100. They arent exactly fun to make, mine did come with some blood on it. I also had to cut my holes - Snorkle hole, wire holes, and bolt holes.

Nice box ya got!!!

The outerwear on top of the filter is what the pro's use here in Baja... it helps them not have to change a filter when the silt hits and causes a major rich issue. The silt will literally fall back off the outerwear (hence the reason you don't oil it)... unlike the actual filter on the snorkel.

Good job... Looks great! Almost as nice as the PPD I've got!!
