Why shouldn't I buy an Outy 800?
Can anyone tell me why I shouldn't buy an Outy 800? I'm looking for some common since to kick in here but so far none has. I'm getting the standard model out-the-door for 8145.00 with zero miles on it, not a demo. I have read everything I have been able to find and haven't found a show stopper yet. I've even already orderd the polycarb skid plates (239.00) for it. It's even coming with an unlimeted (miles and hours) 5 year warranty on it, I just hope it's worth the paper it's written on.
Buyers guilt and not even in my garage yet, go figure?

i am wondering the same thing...get the xt version it has all the goodies on it already and you wont have to waste money inthe future.. if you going to spend the money spend another 600 or so and ge tall the extras, definately if you finance it cause that would be like another 20 bucks a month...so worth it..
me--- personally i cant get passed the price difference with it and others...i know it kicks a$$ but is it that much a$$..

Goodies,,,,, I don't want the extra stuff, I like to keep my quads, even the utility models as light as possible. I've been riding for over twenty years and have never had a need for brush guards, and have needed a winch nearly never it's just something else to break. The one thing I wouldn't mind is the upgraded tires, but other then that I don't need the rest of the stuff.

Well time is ticking, and I've still not been talked out of it. I test rode one for a few laps around a track but really didn't get to do anything. The first thing the techs who set the quad up for me to ride was "no wheelies or power slides" after a few laps the one guy tells me "umm ok, I'm going to cover my eyes and if you happen to do something we said not to, we wont see you". I guess they wanted to see if I'd ever been on a quad before, I don't think the bomb is a good first time quad with out some initial super vision no matter what your age is. This quad is just like any other motor driven device, it has a throttle, you decide how fast or slow to go, it doesn't. I just hope it's as reliable as my Prairie 650 has been, she's been one awsome quad and I bought it just like the bomb is now, first year out and I waited on the dealer door step for months.
