I still don't understand why it would have quit running all of a sudden like you originally posted. I wonder of replacing the starter also fixed a grounding problem. I hope it all works out for you. I can't stand having other people work on my stuff - that's why I do it all myself. Saves a lot of headache when you know things are done right.

 

Who the heck knows. It was one of the strangest problems I've ever had with a Dirtbike/Quad. I will post in a couple months to see if it holds up. Later,D

 

Oh yeah. The dealer said that the starter was not operating correctly and was putting a load on my battery causing it to drain my battery and when the DS has a weak battery we all know it either stalls or does not run correctly.

 

Mrneg I'm glad you got it back and I do hope it stays working well for you, after all you went thru you deserve to enjoy it for a while and not have to worry about issues. Some of the dealers are good at what they do and others aren't, and hopefully this is one of the good ones. It was certainly nice of them to refix it and deliver to you, that's a nice move for sure.
