Congrats on picking up your new toy. Sounds like it is all you wanted and more. You should of told the guy with the big buck Ds there what you had in it. LOL look on his face would of been priceless. I can't wait to hear the full report after some ride time.

Yeap!!! Got it home went for a ride at the shop and at home! NEED to RE GEAR!!!!
1st thing I do tomorrow morning!!!!
tooo much bottom end through 1st 2nd 3 rd gear wheelies WooHoo!!!!
I gotta admit the quad power band runs soooo smooth, I was exspecting the thumper pump you know the thump thump thump but NOPE!
Feels good the cams have a short duration so you can hear them clicking but I was told that was normal, before the DS was tame toy, now it has some chaones (BIG ONES)!!!!
not as arm wrenching in the power band as I thought it would be from all the other write ups I heard about big bores but again it has some major torque!!!! but the power band is so fricken smooth I love it!!! it hits the rev limiter way too fast due to the low gearing at this time but thats going to be changed ASAP ( LOL was a 14/40 going to a 15/40), cant wait to get it out in the dunes and see what it does on Olds!
DID I MENTION I LOVED THE SMOOTH POWER BAND!
To be Dynoed Very Soon!

Well thats exactly what you need for a duner. Good job. Did that guy with his high strung stock bore stop drooling before you left?

He took it for spin could believe how smooth the power band was, Again reved out so quickly but could feel the torque, some people get all caight up in HP numbers, I was looking for Torque, as I wrote Ill try to get it dynoed and post the torque curve and the HP curve, I wasnt looking for top end high HP numbers, I wanted a dune machine to ride around in 3rd gear and just blip the throttle to lighten the front end end at any time, and have a good time riding with the family
