I would spend more money into my engine but ordred my renegade a few weeks ago and have to save every penny for when it comes in hopefully to pay cash...I need to shed some weight but I ride trails so I need the extra protection but can prob save on rotating mass

Thank you all for the replys, I will get back with you when I take out the water pump seal tonight. Not running alky or nos, I currently still running the stock carburetor but have a tm45 on order, both spark plugs looked fine when I pulled them, but I can tell you that both the exhaust valves were the color brown like dirt or clay ? Also there was a medium amount of carbon buildup on the cylinder head and piston top.

I pulled the clutch cover & found the water pump shaft was badly worn out and both the o-ring type gaskets were very loose fitting the shaft, so I ordered all new impeller, shaft, seals, o-rings, gasket (approx.$50) Thanks for all your advice would not have found the problem without the can-am group.

p.s. I will report when I get everthing put back together.

there are some really smart guys on here and you will learn alot from reading the issues that people have good luck and hope thats all that is the problem...I am sure you aren't stupid but flush out all the stuff and if you are looking for a good antifreeze rockymountainatv.com sells engine ice which is biodegradable and is supposed to cool the engine 50 degrees better then antifreeze I love the stuff and seems to be doing the job...when you get a chance show some pics of the beast lol

fatholly I took off the ventline which was causing some of my problems and rejetted and got it dialed in and it really seemed to wake the ds up alot more thanks alot I appreciate it.Brett
