how fast is a outlander 800???

Theres stuff that other people said about 800 outlander speeds , I dont think anyone will tell the truth about its speeds but its said that they hit low 70's and thats believeable if you think about it its a working bike 4x4 at to high of a speed you know anything can go wrong right . Im not trying to prove that my banshee can beat the outty its just that there are so many opinions on their speeds and u know no dealer will tell u the truth about its top speeds but that bike cannot be put against racing bikes . bombardier made the ds 650 you think they made the 800 outlander and renagade to beat their fastest bike .

The Outty WILL beat a Banshee; Its got more torque AND a higher top speed. The outty goes 81.3 mph. Obviously, Can-Am wanted it to be that fast, and it CAN GO AGAINST racing quads, to an extent. Don't you read the threads before you post?

Thats a completely different topic in itself. It all depends on WHO is telling you that, WHAT they are telling you, and add a little common sense judgement into it. The guy who posted that gave reasonable evidence, gave the conditions of the place/time when he did it, and, having owned an Outty myself, it is believable, to an extent, that it will go 81 mph. Keep in mind we are talking about the bigger quad in the market. It IS 800 cc's..

The Outty will outrun about anything BansheeGuy. But dont worry, its not a perfect ATV. It has its flaws, like every other brand has its flaws. It has its high points also over others, as others have high points over the outty. It comes down to what you want to do with it.

Not on a patch of ice and reading the speedo , or seting on a dyno. Just plain real world resistance, I think mid 70s is more of a realistic top speed. The clutch and the rev limmiter happen to meet at 81mph, so they will not go any faster than 81 without clutch work and somekind of ECM mod to alter the rev limmit, the latter is not currently available on the market as of today.

Thats absolutly right. The Outlander does have its flaws, Ive just yet to find one.

I could reword it as "likes and dislikes" Outty owners like Visko Lock, and some people call it a "flaw". I like the added ground clearance of my quad, some people call it a flaw. To each their own
