I never mind anyone asking! I'd much rather answer your question than have someone wonder what the heck it is that I'm talking about.
An EFI DS650 would be a DS650 with Electronic Fuel Injection (Much like the Cannondale FX400 will have) instead of a carburetor. A carburetor is very old technology, and I do not believe any Automobiles were made after 1995-ish with a carburetor. I think it's time that the Motorcycle manufacturers step up to the plate, ditch this old technology and start using EFI. I'd even venture to say that EFI is 90's technology, and it's now the 00's - but we're still using technology invented in a time period I'd assume prior to the first automobile though the revisions are what I'd assume to be 80's technology.) I'm sure there are many 'special' applications where a carburetor is better than EFI, but by and large in applications such as ATVs I believe it will provide better running machines that don't need to be jetted and operate more efficiently/cleanly.
