That's the kind of info I can really use. Yes, the Maxxis tend to dig me in if I'm in real soft sand or headed slightly uphill on takeoff. I never quite understood why they would do that but I guess with a bike as heavy as the DS you need more flotation.

i think this is all depends on were you live... what riding area your in.....and were your at and what place and what riding style and motor work..... i went and ran a set of skat trak haulers 7 paddle 22 all stock, omr carb mod, cdi, barrent 9 disc,530 14/40 and there was no way these things had 0 psi............ got a set of skat trak extreme 12 paddles 22 only thing changed was 5 1/2 over swing and 520 conversion 15/40, tm42, je 11.5, cometic gasket,and mild port work they worked better but... now tm48 straight lines im not going any where now on take off i can't get off the line.... with a good hole shot found myself yesterday sitting on the very back of the seat on take just need to do home work again......this is running 5psi so i'll start dropping air to see were it works the best......im in ks ride in waynoka and syracuse ks and on the (testing site) the river bed....

Default What paddles for built DS650?

Sand Blasters from Fullerton. Get the competion cut #1 paddle blasters. This is for a drag racing applicaton. Here is a link to a thread with pictures of my DS with the blasters on it. Mine are the #2 paddle which are taller than the #1s.

those r actully good tires but i prefer a str8 paddles over a v-cup. dont give up much in turning and gain a ton in take off and getting traction.

If you have a strong running stockbore then you can pull the #1 paddle. If you got them and for some reason couldn't pull them you can always have them stagger cut. Then you'd have 16 paddle but just half as wide. Basically equilavent to a 8 paddle or so.

????about what price range for these tires... i seen that over there on them forums... is therea good web site with prices for these i haven't found....
