The renegade had an fmf power commander and an hmf slip exhaust but other than that it was stock. No he only raced in 2x4.

 

I have a guy with a Rene 800x that has a few bolt on mods and thinks it will walk all over my Full stage 1 Ron Woods DS650 also have the 11.5:1 comp piston, I think he as full exhaust and tuner and intake on the Rene. I hope that my DS can still beat him, also is a guy with a KFX700 with a 720 kit with cams and muzzy full dual exhaust and some head work I think, him and the Rene seem like a really good race but the KFX beats him most of the time by a quad for 3.

 

my money is on the rene 800.

 

wow I would have thought the Rene wouldnt be my problem, I was more concerned over the KFX as he seems to beat everyone, I hope the 525 outlaw doesnt walk on me like he did my 05 Trx450r.

 

we have an 08 rene stock and an 04 650x..rene beat it every time..at the time the 650 had endcap, filter and some minor jetting...

now it has omr carb, filter, endcap, cdi and it goes back and forth in wins..if he runs 4x4 wins 90%..2x4 even split

 

imagine if the rene were a couple hundred lbs lighter to match the ds weight...

 

Imagine if CanAm would've put the Rene motor in the DS chassis...

 

I would like to see the spyder motor in the DS chassis
