too late! I already sent it into the AP...

when they are finished with it, it'll read

"Man found dead laying side by side between his atv and 1 powerful horse."

UM it kind of looks big and heavy.Im into pure sports quads for what I do,if I want a utility Ill just buy 1.I cant afford the 13 grand price tag on these machines anyway.I cant afford and 8 grand machine either and just bought a pristine 06 Raptor 700 for 3600.

there's really nothing "utility" about a Can-Am Renegade 1000!

That's the neat thing about the Renegade. You CAN get a hitch and racks for them. They won't have the load bearing of a regular utility but enough to get by. But, the power, and sportiness, combined with AWD when you need it means you can keep up with sport quads (probably more like blow them away in everything but big jumps and quick turns) and get through tons of terrain you'll never get through with a chain driven sporty. It's a very good mix of sport and utility. Not best in class of either, maybe, but right up there.

The Renegade 1000 is the fastest accelerating ATV sold in America. Think about that for a moment. Faster than a KTM 525 XC, a KTM 505, a YFZ 450, a DS 450, or a Outlaw 525.

Why do they de-tune ATV motors so much?

all you do is talk numbers and power. its in a low state of tune, but not overly so. if they put that against a similar sized cruiser motorcycle the power would be as good or better. a 1300 honda sabre only puts 53 at the wheel and i guarentee this quad puts more then that to the wheels. and i bet a quad with 100hp feels a lot like a sled with 150 in snow. i doubt the cvt AND track are as efficent as shaft drive let alonme chain. if they put that engine in a 5 speed chain drive quad irt would put down almost all that power! now THAT would be fast to anybody. if all you wanna talk about is power stay on the sled forums... sleds need the power to pull through deep snow
