I talked to WB about it, and of course they said it was great etc etc etc. I know from seeing other WB E-Series (and reading reports in mags) that the fit and finish is second to none, they aren't overly noisy but do add a nice sound and definatly add some power. I asked the guy at WB to get me the dyno charts but he never faxed them. Maybe if a few of us call asking to get a fax of the dyno charts one of us will actually get it and then can scan it and post in here.. I'm strongly considering this pipe, but without any information as to it's performance, I'm still sceptical to plunk down the bills for it.

I strongly agree with you on that point! I know I'm not gonna pay for it and not know anything about the performance. Could someone post some info on White Brothers customer service #. I'm sure if that info was avail, we might have a better chance at getting those DYNO results.

Custom x have just released a pipe for the scrambler 500 in Australia the pipe made that much of a difference that we were getting belt slip with the standard clutch. The dealer has had to order another clutch kit to rectify the slip problem.

Did you have the same problem with the white bros pipe?

I'm with you 3TV - I'm not going to be interested in a 120db pipe no matter how well it runs. 90-100 db is definatly the max. I'd like to think I can get performance gains without causing our sport to become extinct. What good is a super fast ATV if they close all riding areas within 1000 miles of you.

Big Gun race core is running ~ 110+ db, maybe ~ 100db w/quiet core. Too loud in either case.

Please feel free to contact Grant at jetpower@bigpond.au he is the local polaris agent and the guy that fitted the Custom x pipe to the Scrambler 500 he will no doubt tell you the same thing as i did. He was that surprised that they fitted the stock muffler back onto the bike to see if he was imaging things. He wasn't, he has now ordered a clutch kit for that quad.

as far as the noise goes i am unable to comment but it didn't sound that loud, and i am unsure wether he has had the quad dynoed yet however The Custom x pipes are getting a good results on all quads.

regards

If I were the owner of a DS650, (I wish) I would put my money on the White Brothers pipe. White Bros seems to have a knack for making top performing exhausts that are relatively quite compared to other aftermarket pipes. They fit right and the headers are stainless steel.
