DS on alchohol?

Have you considered using water/alcohol injection on your quad scoob? Thats what I run on my blown dodge to run more boost safely. Its supposed to help cool the intake charge by 75 degrees or more.

Having considerable experience in running alcohol in blown motors with major mods I would seriously not recommend using alcohol in a stock or naturally asperated DS. Alcohol is for injected motors only and will give nothing but problems in a standard induction setup. Also it is very corrosive to magnesium and its alloys as used in todays carbs.
If you are using a turbo a 50/50 water methanol mix is ideal to give an almost 100% booost to torque if the engine is dialled in properly. The mix should be injected into the inlet air via a small atomizing jet and a high pressure pump, you will most certainly notice the difference in performance.
Alcohol fuel is good given that it is used on the correct setup.

I once helped a friend tear apart his LT500 that was running alcohol, and I was amazed everything inside was rusted or coated with a orange film of rust,to me the inside of the motor looked like it had been sitting in a junk yard for 10 years.I know most quads that run alcohol have a small purge tank to run gas thru a Y type valve to clean the alcohol out when your done riding, this guy said he purging his 500 but it looked nasty,It made me leary about ever running alcohol.
