I just installed an HPD billet throttle. It is awesome. If your throttle is stiff, then buy this. I have a 44 mm Lectron and it is half the effort as the stock throttle. A little expensive but worth it.

 

Who cares about that thumb throttle, we wanna know how good that carb works?

 

Does HPD have a website? I would be interested in one too if they make it for 250R's.

The Lectron carb is from Fast by Gast who sells these carbs to every prostock dragbike race team. It came jetted perfect. I just got it installed so I haven't ran it much. It starts instantly without choke, and has intant throttle response. You jet it from the top in about 30 seconds. It runs $275, awesome deal. That throttle looks sweet. It says you need a custom cable. I am assuming they sell that also. What did that cost?

 

It comes with a cable, it won't work on the stock DS but does on the Lectron.
