Go with 5/8" shaft, 240# mainsprings, 500# & 600# helpers, & adjustable compression rezzies. Pretend you are a 747 coming in for a landing.

My arms are being built this week and I should have them next week or the week after!! I will then try out all the different setups and find one that is the best of both worlds

I think I will have to agree with Fourlix on this one. Not having an adjustable preload kind of sucks, but if you go with the adjustable compression and rebound damping you can make those lighter spring's work perfectly for you. Hey DSa remember how we adjusted your rear suspension? And how good mine was sucking up those bumps? Thanks to the compression dampening and rebound I think it pretty much sums it up. But it really helped yours along with mine to tighten up that preload. Fourlix is right about the jumping when your airborn your shock fully extends so when you land the compression absorbs alot of impact. But your a pretty smart guy and I have no doubt that you will figure out is best for you. Good Luck Bro and have fun this weekend you schmuks! LOL I wish I could be there! GO DEMON!!!!

I think that I will mess with the shocks and see how they are before I spend even more money on them. With the 5/8 shaft sandy said that the compression will be much better and smother. With all the springs that I have I should be able to find a happy medium sooner or later!!! We will be thinking of ya as we are tearing up the dunes in WY

I was going to go with Todd at TCS but your looking at 900 buck for shocks but he builds BITCHEN shocks, I went with works on price, I also have no Pre load on my LT500 and DS, my size was like why waste the money im over 275 lbs I rather have full working springs than the little soft 2" that gets socked up as soon as I sit on the quad, when you get your shocks valved BE HONEST on your weight and your riding skills and where you ride and the pace you ride, it will make the difference on good shock setup or great shock setup, BTW my rear shock was done TCS and Im ticked off he made me use teh helper spring, I had to go Eibach to get the right one, yeah she sits high when Im not on here and any one under 200lbs is going to break there back on it, but when she takes 8 ft drop offs and hits whoops at 4th gear My Big Azz floats.

My works were off of e bay wasted for 150 with rezzies rebuildt for 250 with added custom parts colors and features not a bad deal, just picked up a set of TRX250 for 125 to re do also, those have the rezzie compession valving im going to steel those for the DS and swap em.
