traxter owners..help me out
#1
Ok guys...talk me into buying one.
1) how many miles have you accumulated on your traxter?
2) is there anything you would change on your ride?
3) If you don't mind...what did you pay?
Finally
Knowing what you know now...would you buy it again?
Thanx in advance

JohnC,
I bought my Traxter last fall, and mostly use it for pushing micro sprint cars at tracks.
Yes I would buy another, it is heavy enough to handle a sprinter, have a Warn A2000 on top of rear rack to lift either end of the sprinter, and haul him off the track. Also a pusher plate on front end.
As for ride, I now use the AG tires at 3 psi, they ride softly, but seem to work fine. Regular tires do fine, but most ATV tires seem to throw the mud in the air, where the AG type seem to just unload and throw the mud out the rear low.
The things I like best is the electric shifting, power, weight, ability to handle a load. I do little riding through the woods and what I do is at a moderate speed. Im not trying to burn the bushes or kill myslef. Age is 58 so you see I now enjoy life at a little slower pace, guess why I like the Traxter, step thru seating etc.
What ever you get you will find many good and some bad features on any of them. There is no such thing as "perfect".
Good luck and enjoy, you will like the Rotax engine i'm sure.
Good luck

Forgot to mention that I had the Honda 450ES and used it for the same purpose on sprint cars, it did ok, but not with the same controlled bull moose authority.
Can't say anything against the Honda 450ES, just a different class of ATV for my use. Rides nice, does everything nice, just short when it comes to pushing / pulling a heavy load.
Thanks again
