From what I understand the clutch should be harder to pull and engage quicker. Mine are on order let you know when they are installed. Can someone tell me who I can get some clutch plates from that are better than stock? Cheaper would be a bonus also.

the woods are not that much different than stock, the ones at tvi are alot more and i,ve been told the pami springs are even harder to pull. my wife does fine with the woods, but she doesn't like to ride mine long.

Stay with the stock clutch. Been there and done that. It was a 160 dollar lesson I learned just recently so the pain is fresh. My Barnett clutch kit only lasted one weekend. Then it was fried.
I am totally back to the OEM clutch. But I do plan on going with the RWR or TVI spings. I've delt with RWR on a few other items and am very happy with them and the quick dilivery time. So I am prolly going with the RWR springs.
Just don't go aftermarket on the Clutch. Save the money for something else.

I dont think that the Barnett springs are stiff enough. I run the Barnett clutches along with the Pami springs and you cant make them slip.

Did you try them with the Barnett sprngs first? If so did the clutch slip? and is that why you went with the Pami springs?
When I removed the Barnett clutch I noticed that the last friction plate in the clutch basket wasn't even being used. It was brand new still. So what you say may be a good fix for my barnett purchase. When and if my OEM clutch goes I may give that a try first.

No I never tried the Barnett springs. When I had everything apart I compared the two different sets of springs and the Pami springs was alot stiffer so thats what I went with.
