Default HELP!! Need input fast.

Question. I'm seriously, seriously, seriously considering the 720 kit. I spoke to someone about what it entails and whatnot. My questions are this. How is the power? Does it want to wheelie more? Does it just give more bottom end? How does it fair against something like a Stage III. I want to go with a bigger bore first, then do the headwork down the road. I'm just concerned with a few things

- Getting it o-ringed. You'd think Sam Coe would do that for you
- What about the extra weight of the piston on the crank
- What about cooling? They are removing the nicasil which transfers heat better than steel (in which they use to resleeve)

Any info on this kit would be appriciated. I plan to take the dip next month.

you do know about going 680, right? seems samcoe runs the 720 with no problems. azsand ran it for most of a day with no problems but the end of the day his engine blew apart.

Default HELP!! Need input fast.

Hey Sandman AZSAND's engine blew apart because he was using a Yamaha Raptor rod. The 722 kit from Samcoe is supposed to be pretty good but I didn't want to wait for the turn around time on it. Now I wish I would have done it it would have saved me a lot of time and money!, Mostly TIME!!!

angry it just seems everyone has had problems except samcoed, it would be a nice kit but it just seems it not finished when the consumer gets it. maybe i am looking at it without enough info , it's just from hearing your trails the last few weeks it seems that it is a hard kit. seems azsand had valves hitting the piston at first also, and didn't majorecho have a problem at fsw, and seems quadloco may have had the valve piston thing, also. i know when the thing runs people love it, but i look at duneme and he goes pami and you never hear a word of things being a problem. well hopefully you can get that thing worked out, i want to go a bigger bore, and i'm sure i'll get ahold of you to get mine figured out.

How much is the 722 kit if they did it? I want more POWER and torque. Anything to make this fat beast more nimble.

think about the pami kits? you can buy all the parts and have a machine shop put it together or pami will do all of it. the 703 kit builds 66hp(@the crank 15-20% less @the rear wheel) for aprx $2000. ad a bigger cam and watch it jump even higher in hp. don't let the germany thing bother you i have done alot of business with pami and i get my parts in 3days. i bought the parts from pami, sent them to robertson, and then shipped my motor to robertson worked out good, had it all back quick and robertson even offers dyno work w/out the machine (motor only).
