First problem with my Kazuma mini falcon 90.

The fuel line for overflow from the carb is in a very bad spot. It comes right out next to a very hot part of the engine and there is not enough room to tie it up to something. Is there a solution to this so I don't keep melting lines?
Also it tends to die everytime you stop using the brake. If you slow down easy its fine but if you use the brakes to stop fast the engine always dies. I tried readjusting the carb and idle but it seems to make no difference, is this normal with the drive system it has?

sorry for the way late reply....
as for the hose burning up I used a zip tie and attached it to the wire going into the starter it keeps the hose just barely off the motor..
As far as it dieing with the brake it shouldn't.. How old is the quad? Almost sounds like the centricical clutch may be too tight or something, not allowing it to disengage when the throttle is released and brake applied...

yes he does race..
Out of 4 races so far he has two 2nds and two 3rd places....
He races against 2 TRX's 2 polaris predators and a few other chinese quads....
I have MODDED a few things and he has been getting the holeshot the last few races, now only if he would learn to pass the slow lap traffic..
you can find pictures here... Presten's Pics
and his video's here video's

Cool pics and video(had to modify the links to get them to work). I got mine for my daughter who is 8 and my son is 5 and they are about the same weight(skinny daughter and my boy is like an ox) and was worried about if they decide to try and race that they would not be able to compete with the name brand quads. But since I have rode it around when warming it up for them it really seems to rip with me on it and I am around 190lbs.
Have you done anything with the suspension? I noticed he didn't get much air but has he and how did the stock suspension hold up? That seems to be my main concern is if they get some air will it bounce them off when they land.

LINKS FIXED....
those videos are from his first race, he's beend getting more and more air each time.. The track is perfect for beginners it just kinda rolls at the launches..
I have a few pics where he has squashed the fronts all the way down.... And it just rides out of it, not once has it tried to bump him over...
Suspension will be our next big MOD.. I am looking for someone to build me some +2 A ARMS.....
