Default Taotao 50cc staring issue

Hey all new to the forum and had a quick question! I picked up a little 50 tao for my daughter and all was good until it wasn't. Went to take her out and when we went to start it the starter started the machine with only the brake lever in. Didn't have a to hit the starter button. The stater will spin every time the brake lever is applied. It'll start no problem but for whatever reason the lever will start it not the switch. Now she could ride it but I'd rather not seeming as the starter spins with the brake applied. It's driving me a little nuts! Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance

Either the start button is stuck in the contact position, or the wires from it, to either the brake or solenoid, have shorted together.

Wow I'm an idiot, it was as simple as that haha. I went through all the wiring looking for a short and found nothing, didn't even think of something as simple as the button being stuck. Problem solved. Thanks
