Default no spark Coleman at 200b

Need some help with no spark issue. Nephew was riding and ATV just stopped, it hasn't cranked since. I've replaced almost every electrical component. While checking voltage from stator I noticed I get good voltage on the red/black wire when it's unhooked. But when it's plugged back up I get nothing. Checked ground and they check out. I've replaced stator, magneto, ignition relay, cdi. Any ideas?

You can get dud new components and end up adding faults. Someone on here was reporting that new stators for smaller (Honda Cub clone) engines were being sent out with too big a distance between trigger coil and flywheel. However, all you can do is the tests in the help diagnose stator sticky at the top of the engines section of this forum. This should point out which part of the circuit has a fault, which will be either that component or the wire(s) to it.

Parts check out. Does showing voltage unhooked and no voltage when hooked prove a wire issue? Ground checks out, maybe a short?

I never check things with them connected to the CDI, except the CDI to coil lead, but as the volts are being used by the CDI I wouldn't think this signifies anything. However if exciter and trigger coils test as good at the CDI plug, and kill wire tests as earthed one way and open circuit the other, it has to be a CDI fault if the CDI isn't sending the high voltage surge to the coil once a rev.
