Default BIGGER tires automatic transmission???

Hi i have a 09 suzuki king quad 400as i ordered some tires (kenda bearclaw 26") the stock tires are 25" will the bigger tires cause any problems such as power robbing or stress on the drivetrain?

Stock tires
fr:25x8x12
rr:25x10x12

new tires
fr:26x9x12
rr:26x12x12

ps: This is my first automatic atv i heard bigger tires put stress on the drive belt

No personal experience with your machine, but stating the obvious...you will raise your gearing so you will lose low end power, plus the bigger tires will be heavier and harder to turn.

If this is worth a scooch more ground clearance, only you can decide!

From a 25 to a 26 you shouldn't notice a big loss. If you were to go two sizes larger, it may be an issue. I'm not saying a clutch kit wouldn't help but if you're happy with the power, I'd leave well enough alone.
