Default 28 x 12.5 High lifter outlaws require lift???

Hey guys- anyone running with the 28" High Lifter Outlaws on an 08 outty 650 or 800?
Did you need to lift your atv?

I'm about to pick up a set but I'm not looking to screw with the susp by lifting it. Right now I have the 26" factory tires on- and looks like plenty of room for 28"

Why? the can-am comes stock with one of the strongest axels on any atv (25% thick then the asian axels) and the 28" highlifters are actually only about 1" taller then the stock 26" carlisle skins... it's actually not big deal and they fit quite nicely under the fenders-

People have more problems with their axles (cv's) when modding clutches and adding lift kits- also, most axle failures I've seen happen because the rider is not experienced and has no clue how to properly throttle through an obsticle. 28" outlaws for big bore outty won't be a problem- the polaris & can-am axles are the beefiest out there- and I'm a pretty experienced rider.
