Another good stretching exercise is to hold your fingers splayed out like a police officer telling someone to stop in traffic. With your other hand push back against the splayed out fingers to stretch your hand and open your wrist a little bit. Might give you some relief. It helped me a bit.

I have the same issue, I have nerve damage from breaking my right shoulder then having the shoulder re-constructed along with three steel pins installed to hold it together. I went out and spent the money for the thumb throttle extension it allows you to move your hand around.

Give that a try..
