Default What ATV cover to buy?

I am looking to buy a cover for my 07 Outty 650 HO XT. It will be stored outside since we have no outbuildings for it. We live in MN so the winters are pretty rough and it needs to hold up, but I will be using it in the winter for the occasional ride and for plowing snow. What is the difference between polyester, nylon, and vinyl construction on the covers, and which is the best for my climate? Thanks in advance.

Cabela's. Can't talk about the fabrics used. Got covers from Bass Pro when we 1st got our ATVs five years ago - stopped at the 'local' BP trailering the new ATVs home. They lasted a year. Being the only outdoor store in the area, the next year bought another pair from BP, and got a year out of them. Then phoned order to Cabela's for their delux/trailerable covers and have been using them past 3 years and figure we've got at least another 3 years with them. Only problem we have doesn't matter what cover you'd use - we get critters up under them in cold & bad weather, usually cats but sometimes a possum or skunk, and they often leave a 'present' behind for us to wash off.

I have a garage- but if I had to keep it out side I'd get a high quality boat cover- or even build a simple mini dog shed to keep it in.
